Bài 7 - Full Câu bị động - The Passive Voice (TT)

7. In the pattern: Subject + Verb + Object + infinitive without “TO” withverbs of perception like: see, hear, watch, notice, etc., and the verbs makeand know -> the infinitive without “TO” becomes the infinitive with “TO”.
e.g.:
     I never hear her shout at her children
     ->She is never heard to shout at her children
     He made me do it.
     ->I was made to doit.
     She has never known that man lie before.
     ->That man has never been known to lie before.
8. Preposition that are closely connected with certain verbs and adverbial particles that belongs to two – word verbs are not emitted from the passive sentence (Gii t mà nó được liên kết cht chvi đng tnht đnh và nhng trng ngđi theo sau đng t2 chthì nhlà không được bkhi câu bđng)
e.g.:
     She prevented them from taking the medicine. (Cô y đã ngăn chn h ung thuc.)
     ->They were prevented from taking the medicine. (H đã được ngăn chn ung thuc.)
     The nurse will look after their babies. (Cô y tá s chăm sóc nhng đa con ca h.)
     ->Their babies will be blocked after by the nurse. (Các con cai ca h s được chăm sóc bi cô y tá.)
9. Special cases: There are two common passive constractions with verbs expressing opinion and rumors like: say, report, think, believe, rumour….(Có 2 cu trúc b đng chung vi nhng đng tdin tcm xúc ý tưởng ý nghĩ và nhng li đn đi như: nói, báo cáo, suy nghĩ, tin tưởng, đn….
Chúng ta scó 2 cách đi sau:
It + be + PP + that - clause
E.g.:
      People say that prevention is better than cure. (Người ta nói rng phòng bnh thì tt hơn cha bnh)
     -> It is said that prevention is better than cure.
Subject + be + PP + infinitive with TO
E.g.:
     People say that prevention is better than cure.
     -> Prevention is said to be better than cure.
E.g.:
     People think that he works very hard.
     -> It is thought that he works very hard.
     -> He is thought to work very hard.
     Everybody believed that he had died in the battle.
     -> It was believed that he had died in the battle.
     -> He was believed to have died in the battle.

(Quá kh đơn)
Sam repaired the car.
The car was repaired by Sam.

Past Continuous
(Quá kh tiếp din)
The salesman was helping the customer when the thief came into the store.
The customer was being helped by the salesman when the thief came into the store.
Present Perfect
(Hin ti hoàn thành)
Many tourists have visited that house
That house has been visited by many tourists.
Present Perfect Cont (Thì hin ti hoàn thành tiếp din)
Recently, John has been doing the work.
Recently, the work has been being done by John.
Past perfect
(QKHT)
George had repaired many cars before he received his mechanic’s license
Many cars had been repaired by George before he received his mechanic’s license.
Past Perfect Cont
(QKHTTD)
Chef Jones had been preparing the restaurant’s dinners for two years before he moved to Paris.
The restaurant’s dinners had been being prepared by Chef Jones for two years before he moved to Paris.
Simple Future WILL

Someone will finish the work by 5:00 PM
The work will be finished by 5:00 PM.

 Sally is going to make a beautiful dinner tonight.
